What Are the High Holidays?
The two-day holiday of Rosh Hashanah is the head of the Jewish year, the time when G‑d reinvests Himself in creation as we crown Him king of the universe through prayer, shofar blasts, and celebration. A week later, the High Holidays reach their crescendo with Yom Kippur (the Day of Atonement). Like angels, we neither eat nor drink for 25 hours. Dressed in white, we pray in the synagogue—united as one people, children of One Father.
High Holiday Appeal
We all depend on community. It gives us meaning. It gives us strength. It makes us who we are! But how can you and I create a close community when we need to be physically far apart?
With your help, we can create a vibrant Jewish community, for everyone, so they  do not feel alone.
Your donation will send them Shabbat in a box, Send Judaism to go, bring them the human connection that they need. Let them know that  we  will always be there to help.
